Can I simulate a transfer function in simulink in real time and interact with the model using the GUI?

Hello,

I have a real system and I can act manually on it by means of a potentiometer.

I have modelled the system in Simulink and I want my students can interact in the same way, but with the model. The model will be a transfer function, a scope and an external input but not from the hardware.

Are there any way to simulate the model in real-time and manage the input in manual mode, for example, using the Matlab GUI. That is, I want to manually control input to the model and see the response in real-time.
