How can I use monopulse feed and monopulse estimator ?

My final project is to detect the angle between target antenna and reference point. I have 2 receiver and 1 transmitter antenna, and my goal is that I will send monopulse signal (sinus or pulse) from transmitter antenna to these receiver antenna. then I try to observer where my transmitter antenna is. According to my research, for 1 angle (for only azimuth) I need 2 receiver antenna to create sum and diff signals. My plan is that the signal which I sent from transmitter will be caught from my two receiver and then i will take these signals to process with matlab. For conversion, I will use adc.
My question is that after calculate diff and sum signals, I don't know how i can calculate error signal. I want to see the angle between reference point and target antenna. In my opinion I need to use phase monopulse feed and phase monopulse estimator, but I don't understand how can I change analog signal to the desired input for these two blocks. I couldn't find any tutorial videos about these blocks.
Thank you
