Sometimes Matlab does not perform task until a "return" is performed in the Command Window. Am I alone?

I have som AppDesigner GUIs that performs tasks when I click some button. Sometimes Matlab simply doesnt perform the task unless I hit "return" in the Command Window. Has any one else experiemced this?

Have had this behaviour for some years now, and thought it would eventually disapear with the updates but apparently not.

Can you post a minimal working example which reproduces your observation?

Maybe a drawnow is missing?

I dont think I can extract a working example but I'll check drawnow, maybe it's the culprit since the button performs a plot with the handle specified...
