How to calculate the area between two functions?

Hi!!

I'm new in Matlab. If someone could help me I will be grateful.

I am interested in calculating the area between the function and the blue horizontal line (in the figure this area is colored red).

The black vertical lines drawn in paint are the lateral limits of the area (points of intersection of the function with the horizontal blue line)
