How to do a band pass filtering in matlab?

i have an equally spaced data (not in the time domain. for e.g. altitude profile of temperature data with 5meter resolution from surface to 30 km). i want to apply a band pass filter to this dataset (e.g. for the altitude profile, to eliminate data fluctuation in the range 400m-6 km). How i will do this in matlab?
