how to draw a grid in MATLAB???

i need to draw a grid for my code just as shown in the lnk

and then i want to generalize it,that is its size can be defined by user..it maybe 3x3 or 5x5 etc ...

then i want MATLAB to automatically label each point of the grid ..

take a look at Steve's blog, where he describes how to generate a pixel grid. Perhaps, this is what you want.
