Ravindra Munje
In this, RL and RC circuits are converted from the Laplace domain to Z-domain and responses are compared.
This is an undergraduate experiment in the course of Control System II of the Electrical Engineering Program of Pune University.
Title: Convert a continuous-time system to a discrete-time system and check response using the software.
Learning Outcomes: After the successful completion of this experiment, students will be able to
1. Generate response for continuous-time system
2. Convert continuous-time system into digital/discrete-time system
3. Obtain the response of the discrete-time system and compare it with a continuous-time system
Aim: In this experiment, the RL and RC circuits are considered for analysis. Aims of the experiment are
1. To obtain the transfer function of the system in the Laplace domain.
2. Plot the response of the current/voltage.
3. Convert the transfer function from -domain into -domain.
4. Obtain the response of the discrete-time system and compare results.
