MLTP is a program designed to solve the Minimum Lap Time Problem, that is, to find the optimal race-line, control inputs, and configuration of parameters of the vehicle to achieve the fastest time along a given track. The selected solution method is based on the optimal control approach and uses direct collocation, taking advantage of the framework Casadi and the solver ipopt to define and solve the optimisation problem.
