Check Cylinders Overlapping

Checks if there is overlapping between two cylinders

This tool checks if there is overlapping between two cylinders. Example file is provided.

function I=Cylinders_Overlap(vca1,vca2,da,vcb1,vcb2,db)

Input:

vca1 is (3*1) coordinate vector for the center of the first circular base of cylinder a.

vca2 is (3*1) coordinate vector for the center of the second circular base of cylinder a.

da is the diameter of cylinder a.

vcb1 is (3*1) coordinate vector for the center of the first circular base of cylinder b.

vcb2 is (3*1) coordinate vector for the center of the second circular base of cylinder b.

db is the diameter of cylinder b.

output:

I: true if there is overlap, otherwise it is false
