MCMS Cage Count
Version 1.4.3 (1.26 MB) by
Alexander Dunn
Plot animal cage numbers by line and manager.
Functions to take a cage list downloaded from Mouse Colony Management System (MCMS) in csv format and plot the cage numbers by line and manager.
To get a cage list from MCMS: click reports tab on MCMS, search for “cage list”, click run, choose settings, name the filter, save the filter. Then in future you can run the search from the home screen on MCMS. Once settings are set, ‘run live’ and download (button on the top right).
Then all you need to do once this toolbox is added is enter cage_count_gui into the matlab command line. It will open the file explorer window. Locate the cage count table (csv file). Then it will make the plots and save them in the same folder as the table. Alternatively, you can change directory in the command line to your downloads folder and run cage_count_cmd('filename.csv') command with your own file's name.
