The AVR system and the fractional order controllers (FOPID/FOPIDD) are designed in MATLAB mfile environment. In the article, the controller parameters are optimized with 20 different algorithms.
Note: StepResponse.m (by Clinton Cathey) used in the ZLG objective function is modified to calculate the steady state error.
