Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) is a technology used in solar power systems to optimize the efficiency of solar panels. Solar panels generate maximum power at a specific voltage and current, known as the maximum power point (MPP). However, factors such as changes in sunlight intensity and temperature can cause the MPP to shift. MPPT algorithms continuously track the MPP and adjust the operating conditions of the solar panels to ensure maximum power output.
