Gompertz-inspired anisotropic diffusion filtering
Version 1.0.0 (1.38 MB) by
Baraka Maiseli
This method deals with anisotropic diffusion filtering based on the Gompertz distribution function
This submission includes an anisotropic diffusion method that uses the Gompertz function as a diffusion kernel for noise removal. The method can efficiently generate quality images with competitive values of peak signal-to-noise ratio (PSNR), structural similarity (SSIM), and mean squared error (MSE). Even when subjected to excessive number of iterations, the method remains stable to generate promising results depicting higher PSNR, SSIM, and MSE values.
