Includes reliability and latency evaluation examples under varying vehicle densities, plot sizes, and transmitted power.
This MATLAB script models a cognitive network architecture for vehicle-to-network communications via smart meters, focusing on ultra-reliable low-latency communications (URLLC). It simulates an urban area with vehicles and smart meters, evaluates key performance metrics (reliability, latency, and channel capacity) under varying vehicle densities, plot sizes, and transmitted power, and visualizes/compares the results. The script employs 3GPP Urban Macro (UMi) path loss models for LOS and NLOS scenarios to ensure realistic signal propagation. Designed for scalability, it allows customization of environmental parameters, vehicle placement, and communication thresholds. The output includes performance trends highlighting the impact of vehicle density, plot sizes, and transmitted power on network reliability and latency.
