This Turning Geometry App provides an interactive interface for plotting and analyzing basic turning profiles. Simply specify the coordinate points (A–G) along with each segment’s profile type—Concave Circular, Convex Circular, Straight, Taper, or Face—and then click Plot to visualize the resulting 2D geometry.
You can also enter information about roughing and finishing passes (number of passes, depth of each cut, and finishing allowance). The app calculates and plots each pass profile, helping students or engineers visualize the material removal process in a clear, step-by-step manner.
