MATLAB supports Adoptium OpenJDK for Java®-dependent features. This OpenJDK distribution is supported on all platforms without requiring a system-wide installation.
Note: A future release of MATLAB will not include a JRE, and an OpenJDK will be required to enable products and features which require Java.
Installation Instructions
Click the Install or Download button in the upper-right corner of this page.
  • If using the “Install” button: MATLAB will download and install Adoptium OpenJDK automatically as part of the OpenJDK Support Package.
