Title: Sketch Root Locus for a given system and verify results using MATLAB
Learning Outcomes: After the successful completion of this experiment, students will be able to
  1. Sketch the Root Locus for a given system and verify the results using MATLAB.
  2. Analyze the effect of the addition of poles and zeros on the root locus based on time domain specifications.
Aim: The aims of the experiment are to
  1. Sketch the root locus for a given system using the analytical method and check the result using simulation.
  2. Obtain the step response for K=1 and note down the time domain specifications.
  3. Add a pole at a desired location and observe a change in the time domain specifications, and repeat the process for the addition of a zero by removing the pole.
