three-level NPC–DAB–CLLC converter
The provided MATLAB code models and compares the input–output performance of a conventional two-level DAB and a three-level NPC–DAB–CLLC converter for an 800 V to 400 V, 10 kW EV charger operating at a fixed switching frequency. The code generates high-frequency bridge voltages on the primary and secondary sides using analytical square-wave representations and applies a controlled phase shift (φ) to regulate power flow. For the conventional DAB, power transfer occurs through the transformer leakage inductance, resulting in a triangular high-frequency current, whereas in the NPC–DAB–CLLC case, the three-level bridge voltages excite a resonant inductance representing the CLLC tank, producing a near-sinusoidal current waveform.
