Second order modulated noise is used in psychoacoustic experiments of amplitude modulation detection. It can be used to derive the second order TMTFs of a person.
The signal here is generated by multiplying the noise with a rectified amplitude modulated sine wave.

This submission was not intended to modulate a wav file with another wav file. This was merely programmed to generate a second order modulated signal for psychoacoustical experiments.

If you want to modulate a signal using a noise file

use the following equation:

modulatedsignal = (1+noise).*signal;

P.S.: If you do not know how to implement the above equation in matlab, put in a reply and I'll walk you through. Also, it would help to know which stimuli you intend to use
