The Kozak Scatterplot was introduced by Marcin Kozak in an article published in IEEE Computer Graphics & Applications Vol. 30 No. 6, pages 3-7. It is a hybrid between designs by Edward Tufte and William Cleveland and merges the strengths of both designs. It clearly highlights the minimum and maximum values of both axes and the dark bars on the x and y axes contrast with the gray box perimeter to mark the range of values of both variables.

This project is based off of James Houghton's RangeFrame 1.0 project: http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/26061-rangeframe-1-0
