Calculation of a verticle beam deflection

With the given values and the equation for the vertical deflection of
of a beam subject to a distributed load, this script determines the beam
deflection (a polynomial) by a coefficient vector then computes and
plots the deflection. Then to determine the location of the maximum
deflection, it determines the values of x at which the derivative of the
deflection is zero by computing and displaying the roots of the
deflection polynomial derivative vector.
