Data visualization uses graphical and numerical tools to reveal the information contained in data. It is a more effective approach for understanding and communication than the use of common numerical tools alone. This software package focuses on easily producible and interpretable displays which provide maximum insight. Most of this material is inspired by William S. Cleveland's book, Visualizing Data. (1993). The toolbox contains functions, demo scripts and demo data sets.
I wrote version 1 in 1998 and have updated it slightly to run in R2015a. I probably would use a somewhat different style today.
