This function estimates the first- and second-order moments of a bi-dimensional random vector. Thus, the mean and the standards deviation are calculated for each of the component of an elliptical distribution model. The coordinates of the ellipse for a given EEP (50%, 95%, etc.) are also provided, allowing to plot it easily.
