Time-Localized Filtering using Wavelets
Filter time-localized frequency components in a signal in MATLAB®.
In many applications, the frequency band of an unwanted signal may lie within the same frequency range of the signal (a filter cannot be used if the frequency of the interference is within the frequency range of the signal). Continuous Wavelet Transform in MATLAB® can be used in these situations to remove the unwanted component while preserving the information content in the signal.
