The Exact Analytical Conduction Toolbox (EXACT) contains codes for obtaining high-precision values from analytical solutions. EXACT should be useful to engineers and scientists engaged in code verification, inverse problems, indirect measurements, and anyone with a need for precise numerical values obtained from verified algorithms in heat conduction/diffusion. The material available here (Matlab File Exchange) is limited to the problem statement and the computer codes, however the EXACT web site (exact.unl.edu) contains a larger collection of solutions each with information on verification, tables of numerical values, and plots.
Codes available here are organized by body shape, as summarized below, and by a numbering system. The numbering system identifies the coordinate system (X = Cartesian, R = radial-cylindrical, RS = radial-spherical) and identifies the type of boundary conditions present (1 = Dirichlet, 2 = Neumann, 3 = Robin/convection, 0 = no physical boundary).
