Updated 11 Apr 2023

The Blackfynn platform provides a solution for scientific data, and metadata management, sharing, and analysis. It is developed with the Neuroscience, and Bioengineering community in mind and supports a variety of data modalities. The platform is used by large number of investigators to manage their scientific data, to collaborate on scientific projects, and to share these data with the scientific community. You can setup your free account at: https://blackfynn.com/academia

The Blackfynn toolbox provides programmatic access to data on the Blackfynn platform and allows users to:
* Upload files to the platform fast and securely.
* Develop metadata schemas (models/relationships)
* Create records for the metadata models and link records to each-other using relationships
* Interact with the raw data directly from the platform without the need to download the files

Instructions on how to install and use the MATLAB client can be found on our developer site: https://developer.blackfynn.io/matlab
