Draws a quiver plot with arrows whose colors are w/r to the default color map and the magnitude of the data. It displays a colormap whose limits accurately reflect the data. Works with NaNs. Created under 6.5.1 but has run under 6.1
I have a problem because my data is a circular grid and I have NaN in the grid points X and Y What I should do?
Thanks for this! Not being able to assign arrow color by vector magnitude was driving me crazy. I do have to add view([0,-90]); after calling this since it transposes my graphs in a strange way, however.
Hello, thanks a lot for this file. I have two questions :
- I wondering if this fonction plot -U and -V instead of U et V ? An other way to say that, i wondering if the the arrow points in the opposite side
- I realy need a function with normalize arrow.
This worked first time and much better and faster than any quiverc, quiverclr and vfield.
Good script and simple to use, I did have to transpose some of my data to make it work correctly.
Input isnt clear, but use the same input as the inbuilt quiver function
Bug fix. Colors of quivers incorrectly was w/r to having an even no. of quivers per color vs even color spacing between min an max magnitudes as per colorbar behavior.
