Metoda Newton-Raphson është metodë iterative që përdoret për gjetjen e rrënjëve të ekuacioneve jolineare dhe sistemeve te tyre.
Kjo teknike zbatohet derisa diferenca e dy perafrimeve njepasnjeshme te jete shume e vogel. Gjithashtu mund te perdorim si kriter ndalimi te procesit iterativ ne momentin qe vlera maksimale e funksionit ne vlere absolute behet me e vogle se toleranca.
