The NIST are statistical tests for binary sequences generated randomly. Such a sequence is useful to be used for frequence test(The tests are fully discussed and available online ==> https://nvlpubs.nist.gov/nistpubs/Legacy/SP/nistspecialpublication800-22r1a.pdf ). It is useful to use them on Matlab. This is a function file for one of their tests called frequence test.
