Thesis Figure Editor

This software allows one to store figure directories properly and format figures for dissertations or publications.

Requires Matlab R2020a or higher. If you are dealing with a variety of figures for an academic study, naming figures properly and descriptively might be a cumbersome task. At this point, the developed GUI helps to organize the figures along with the corresponding descriptions and notes. The directories and the corresponding data are stored in a .mat file that can be loaded to the GUI for the next use. Different studies can be saved into separate files so that they can be tracked easily.
Further, the tree view handles the figure numbering for you. So, inserting a new figure or deleting one would not be a problem in terms of numbering. The GUI also allows one to format the figure dimensions, X and Y ticks and so. A format can be saved and be applied to multiple figures.
