disclination dissociation in 2D uniaxial nematic liquid crystals

This is a simple script to simulate the dissociation of a single +1 topologic defect into two +1/2 defects. The defects have like charges and thus repell each other. Since the free energy of a topologic defect is propto its topological strength k, the free energy of the system is reduced by half in the course of this process.
