This util reads in data and meta-data from ATL/Philips ultrasound scanners, stored in XIF (eXcellent Image Format) files.

It only reads the most commonly used elements from the meta-data (Scanlines, Samples, Frame Rate, Frames and Height and Width in mm), but is easily extended.
