Vasco is an Applications Engineer working especially in the fields of physical modeling and Control Design Automation. Before joining the Mathworks in 2016, Vasco worked at Liebherr Machines Bulle where he developed new control functions for different control units using Rapid Prototyping Systems and embedded code real time bypass. He was in charge and completely renew the company's library of physical models (from emission aftertreatment systems to diesel and gas engines) deployed to do real time HIL testing and embedded software validation. Vasco has a BSc as Mechanical Engineer (with participation in the Formula Student competition) and a Master degree in Energy Sciences and Technology, both of them obtained at the ETH Zurich. |

I'm managing Embedded Targets development at MathWorks, leading an organization responsible for all aspects of software development: product releasing, software development phases, partner management, strategic planning of innovative solutions providing Model-Based Design for Raspberry PI, Arduino, BeagleBone Black, ARM Cortex-M, TI MCUs and other embedded targets. I created the MathWorks embedded targets development team in Bangalore India in July 2011 after 3 years in France and 2 years in US where I joined MathWorks as an embedded targets developer in 2005. Prior to joining MathWorks I worked as an embedded software engineer developing motor control algorithm for UQM Technologies. I hold a B.S and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Paris-Sud University as well as an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from University of Colorado at Denver.

As a Product Marketing Manager at MathWorks, I currently drive the business and product strategy for Aerospace Toolbox and Aerospace Blockset, including its new CubeSat Simulation Library. I have also continued supporting Simulink built-in hardware support and drove the launch of Embedded Coder support for PX4 autopilots. Built on top of the Simulink platform, I make sure that MathWorks' technologies address the most prominent market problems and bring industry and domain-specific functionality for modeling, simulation, and automatic code generation. I work closely with the Development organization, Application Engineering, other Marketing groups and Sales to help define product direction and deliver various product and application-related projects. |

Terry Denery has spent his career pursuing innovation in engineering designs through the use of simulation. This pursuit began at the University of Virginia where he completed degrees in chemical and mechanical engineering. While at Hercules, Inc., he developed solid rocket propulsion systems. He then attended Stanford University where he earned a Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics, studying fluid dynamics and thermodynamics. Terry later joined Knowledge Revolution, which produced the motion simulation tools Working Model and Interactive Physics. While there, he founded the Technical Services group, which served customers through technical support, training, and consulting. After MSC.Software?s acquisition of Knowledge Revolution, Terry served as an engineer in the sales organization, supporting the products ADAMS, visualNastran 4D, Dynamic Designer, and CATIA v5i. Terry joined the The MathWorks in 2004 as marketing manager for the physics-based modeling and simulation tools. |
