Brendan Eck

I am a PhD Student in Biomedical Engineering focusing in medical image processing and analysis. My current work is in dynamic myocardial CT perfusion (CTP), dual energy CT, CT image quality, model observers of image quality, and cryo-microtome imaging (cryo-imaging). My broader interests are in non- and minimally-invasive diagnostic imaging modalities and methods. Outside of professional pursuits, I also am interested in physics, general image processing, quantitative finance, political/economic philosophy, and STEM education/outreach.
