Models created in Simulink can be easily interfaced to external hardware and tested using the rtX when used with Simulink Coder. ADI's interactive tools provide the runtime environment for executing Simulink models on the rtX. Interactive tools include ADvantageDE for the development of real-time projects; ADvantageVI for run-time control, visualization, interaction, scripting, and automation; SIMplotter, for runtime stripchart and plotting capability; and Altia, for data visualization and control.
