Flywheel

Flywheel is a data and algorithm management software platform designed to foster collaboration and reproducibility, as well as ease the IT burden of the researcher. Data can be pulled directly from a device or manually uploaded. Once loaded, researchers can organize and search through the data. Researchers can also containerize their pre- and post-processing pipelines using the Flywheel Data Studio and Gears so they can be easily run and shared.

Flywheel Data Studio is the engine for queuing and managing processing jobs for data analysis and data converters (Gears).   It also includes a MATLAB command line interface (CLI) to help users interface with the database. Users can query the database, download datasets, operate on them, and post results back to Flywheel, all from MATLAB.
