ADInstruments Data Acquisition System - PowerLab

In life sciences and pharmaceutical research, LabChart, in conjunction with a PowerLab (previously MacLab) recording unit, offers versatile data acquisition and analysis solutions. The systems are used with Windows® or Macintosh computers to record and analyze physiological signals from human and animal subjects. In one compact unit, PowerLab systems perform the functions of chart recorders, XYT plotters, digital voltmeters and storage oscilloscopes.

LabChart (previously Chart) exports its native *.adicht data files to *.mat files. The output format is efficient for large data files and detailed in the LabChart Help. In LabChart's Welcome Centre, we provide an example LabChart MATLAB code file to help customers get started with importing their data into MATLAB. Running LabChart.m over your exported file plots the data in a similar way as displayed in LabChart’s Chart View.  The Welcome Centre also contains a collection of automation scripts for controlling LabChart from within MATLAB®.

LabChart also supports export in a simple format for customers wishing to use MATLAB scripts written before LabChart 7.2. This is limited to single-rate sampling and selections over one continuous recording.
