Description
The C Controller is an innovative open platform that can run C language programs on MELSEC, which offers long-term stable supply, high reliability, high performance, and flexibility. The MELSEC iQ-R series C Controller R12DCCPU-V significantly reduces takt time through high-speed control on the newly developed high-speed system bus. It is possible to build a variety of systems by combining the C Controller with various units of the MELSEC sequencer, partner products, open source, and customer program assets.
In the control algorithm development environment, it is possible to integrate with Simulink® to implement the code automatically generated from Simulink into the C Controller. In this case, by using the "Simulink Library for C Controller", the program for the input and output parts of the C Controller can also be automatically generated, which greatly reduces program development man-hours. This results in a more robust, easier, and more efficient development process, providing greater freedom. MELSEC C Controllers will continue to evolve as a new platform to replace personal computers and microcontrollers used in all kinds of situations.
