MotionGenesis™ Kane is a fast, compact, highly advanced symbolic manipulator with expert tools for mathematics, code generation, and forces and motion. It incorporates Newtonian physics and simulates the motion of mechanical, biomechanical, aerospace, and related systems.
An input text file similar to a MATLAB file contains commands that declare built-in objects such as points, particles, bodies, and reference frames and calls an extensive scalar, vector, and tensor library for rotational/translational kinematics, dynamics, statics, energy, actuators, mass and inertia properties, and systems analysis. Systems can be described with just a few lines of text. MotionGenesis then creates fast, compact, symbolically optimized, MATLAB code for both nonlinear and linearized systems and for high-speed, low-memory in-the-loop hardware.
