VORtech builds computational software and provides mathematical consultancy for companies and institutes in engineering, manufacturing, research, and finance. VORtech has experience utilizing prediction models in a wide range of application domains, including fluid flow (surface water, ship, design), oil and gas prospecting, process technology, weather and climate, traffic flow, pricing and risk analysis, power grid, and asset management. 

VORtech has built data management and retrieval software, graphical interfaces, computational core routines, model coupling interfaces, and frameworks; they have improved the performance of codes through profiling, analyzing, optimizing, and parallelizing. VORtech can also analyze the mathematical algorithms and propose improved model parameters, smart approximations, or novel algorithms that can dramatically speed up model computations.

For applications written in MATLAB®, VORtech develops both tools and solutions from scratch and improves and extends existing code. MATLAB is the perfect framework for prototyping new models and for pre-and post-processing data and images. VORtech has experience with various toolboxes such as Database Toolbox™, MATLAB® Compiler™, Parallel Computing Toolbox™, and MATLAB® Parallel Server™. VORtech can integrate MATLAB with functions and libraries written in other languages such as C, C++, C#, R, Fortran, and Python®.
