Simulink Units

Use Simulink^® units to specify physical units on Simulink signals and bus elements at component interfaces, such as subsystems, model references, Stateflow^® charts, and MATLAB^® function blocks. The units can be specified and visualized at the interfaces using Inport/Outport dialog boxes, Simulink signal objects, bus editor, and bus element definitions. Starting from R2016a, Simulink units lets you identify unit mismatches and inconsistencies at the system level. Contextual warning messages and detailed model advisor reports are generated that provide information on unit mismatches along with debugging steps.
