Configure Simulink^®-specific settings of your project using the matlab.toml file

The properties in the matlab.toml file are grouped in tables. To see the list of all tables and properties, see matlab.toml.

When you edit Simulink-specific project settings and configuration using the user interface, the project logs this information in the matlab.toml. You might need to read and edit the TOML file when comparing versions or resolving conflicts.

This TOML code configures the project to start Simulink and refresh Simulink customization on project startup. The example code also specifies where to store cache files and code generation artifacts.

Properties

All properties in the matlab.toml file are optional.

start-simulink — option to start Simulink on project startup

false (default) | true

Option to start Simulink on project startup, specified as a true or false.

refresh-customizations — Option to refresh Simulink customization on project startup

false (default) | true

Option to refresh Simulink customization on project startup, specified as a true or false.

cache-folder — Folder to store the Simulink cache

string scalar

Folder to store the Simulink cache, specified as string scalar.

codegen-folder — Folder to store the code generation files

string scalar

Folder to store the code generation files, specified as string scalar.
