I have installed Microsoft Visual C++ (MSVC) 2008 compiler on my Windows machine. I want to know on how to create a MEX file using MSVC 2008 with MATLAB 7.7 (R2007b).

MATLAB 7.7 (R2007b) is not officially tested for Microsoft Visual C++ 2008.
Refer to the list of Supported Compilers for MATLAB 7.7 (R2007b):
