input transfer function in MATLAB GUI using GUIDE

hey, i want to input transfer function of a filter in s-domain or impulse response of it in t - domain in a GUI using edit boxes.how to use the entered function in the program to find various parameters

If you have the Signal Processing Toolbox, you can simply use the fdatool or filterbuilder.
