How to prepare a code for wavelet network

hi

Can any one help me in formulating a neural network architecture that has wavelet as transfer function. Is there any function developed for this. I think the sigmoidal function has to be changed to a gaussian form which has a structure like a wavelet. But how? Being a civil engineer i cannot figure it out can anyone please help me.....

The problem is for regression. The targets are discrete and I need wavelet transfer function only in hidden layer.
