Matlab 2013a Installation Error

I'm trying to install Matlab 2013a on my Windows 7 Professional Edition. But after I double click the setup icon, I get a split second view of the Matlab logo, then nothing. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. I've restarted my PC multiple times, I've removed and re-inserted the disc multiple times but all to no avail. Any idea whats going on?

Did you run it as administrator?

@Mikhail yes i tried that multiple times. No change.
