how to compile in a matrix

hsv=rgb2hsv(a);
v=hsv(:,:,3);

    for x=v(1:256, p);
        h=imhist(v);
        a=sum(x.*h);
        b=sum(h);
        M=a/b;
        C1=1:1:M-1;
        C2=M-1:M:256;
        q=1-((M-x))
    end
end

in this code value of q is of (matrix 256*1). after running the code i am getting value of q 256 time (i.e q(matrix 256*1) 256 times). so how can i compile these value to make q of matrix 256*256
