Why do I get errors related to sg.model.b​uild.hooks​.entry when building my model?

I am trying to generate code from my model, but I encounter an error message starting with:

Error encountered while executing custom build hooks sg.model.build.Hooks.entry(modelName,dependencyObject)

This error message can even occur for targets other than Simulink Real-Time (slrealtime.tlc).

This may be due to a bug in Speedgoat I/O Blockset. Please install the latest version available from the Speedgoat website.
