run matlab help function_name from terminal

Dear Community,
I am trying to execute matlab help command for a function from terminal. The command can be easily executed from the MATLAB application, however it does not execute in terminal.
If I try -
matlab help function_name
then it starts the application.
If I try -
matlab -nodisplay -nodesktop help function_name
then it starts matlab on terminal.
But in none the cases result for help is printed.
In MATLAB Command window it prints the expected result (shown below). And I want to ask how can we get this in the terminal ?

Thank you for the answer. I understood the mistake was not to write command within double-quotes. Your answer did work, however it started command window and then I had to quit it.
But based on your answer, I tried -
matlab -batch "help function_name"
and it printed the only help text without starting the command window.
