a=[0 1 0 0 1;1 0 1 1 0]
a = 2×5
0 1 0 0 1 1 0 1 1 0
s=sprintf('%d%d\n',a(:))
s =
'01 10 01 01 10 '
Or
b=dec2bin(a)
b = 10×1 char array
'0' '1' '1' '0' '0' '1' '0' '1' '1' '0'
c=reshape(b,2,[])
c = 2×5 char array
'01001' '10110'
d=c'
d = 5×2 char array
'01' '10' '01' '01' '10'
